FRENCH QUARTER

Bought a bottle of Rhum Clement Creole Shrubb Orange Liqueur made from the french caribbean, Martinique. The french caribbean are well known for their rhums made from freshly pressed cane juice. The majority of the rums produced are made from molasses, by products of processed sugar. The rhum liqueur is a blend of both white and aged Rhum Agricole macerated in creole spices and sun dried bitter orange peels. The immediate flavors are cloves, cinnamon, allspice, honey, and orange with a hint of almond. Rhum Clement Creole Shrubb can be taken neat, on the rocks, or mixed in a cocktail. The rhum orange liqueur has infinite possibilities with Cognac, or other rhums/rums. I would love to experiment with coffee, chocolate, lime juice, lemon juice, passion fruit juice, etc… Below is just one experimentation.

MAIN INGREDIENTS:

  • 10 Cane Rum (also made from fresh pressed cane juice)
  • Rhum Clement Creole Shrubb Orange Liqueur
  • Lemon Juice
  • Pineapple Juice
  • Vanilla Almond Syrup
  • Angostura Bitters
